In a meeting with Axios, Fauci told the news association’s prime supporter Mike Allen the new government direction was “a confirmation to the individuals who are inoculated that they can have a sense of security, be they outside or inside.”

“I think individuals are confounding, believing that this is an evacuation of a cover command for everybody. It’s not,” Fauci said.

Fauci added that numerous Americans are not perusing the direction with a basic eye.

“Individuals either read them rapidly, or tune in and hear half of it. They are feeling that we’re saying: ‘You needn’t bother with the veil any longer.’ That’s not what the CDC said,” Fauci said. “They said: If you are immunized, you can have a sense of security — that you won’t get tainted either outside or inside. It didn’t expressly say that unvaccinated individuals should desert their covers.”
